Puzzle File Explorer (PFE) Hints As of version 1.00

1. The Puzzle File Explorer (PFE) is integrated with Xsudo and are both active at the same time. As you look through puzzle files or edit them, you can double click to load and look at the puzzles. When you exit the explorer, you have the option to keep the newly opened puzzle or return to the puzzle that was in Xsudo when the explorer was opened.

2. You can cut, copy, delete, and paste single files and directories. Items that are cut are "moved" out of view and copied during the paste command. They remain there until a new object of the same type is cut.

3. You can cut, copy, delete, and paste multiple puzzles in files, these can be selected with [ Shift Click ] for a block of puzzles or [ Control Click ] for discontinuous puzzles.

4. You can also edit the puzzle information entries, file names and directory names.

5. Since Xsudo and the PFE are running together, it is possible to delete or change the puzzle location, the file, or even the directory containing the open puzzle. Xsudo knows this and will either ask or alert you. In all cases, the puzzle is still in the buffer and is saved on exit of the file explorer, perhaps as a new entry in the current puzzle file.

6. When you exit the file explorer, you have a choice to "Return" to the previous puzzle that was running when you started, or to exit with the currently opened puzzle.

7. The  => symbol indicates a puzzle is currently in Xsudo.

8. Deletion of files and directories from the Explorer goes through Windows' recycle bin.

9. When you want to create or paste new puzzle files or directories, you must select an existing directory to paste into.

Q. Is there some way to navigate to a directory outside the puzzle diretory?

No. This is a safe guard because Xsudo has full control of Windows' file functions, which can be dangerous. Note also, the PFE ignores files without a .sud extension, which are in the puzzle file directory.  However, these files will be deleted when deleting directories.
